Liam Nix has been with Nationwide Children’s Hospital since 2014, beginning as a Patient Care Assistant on a Behavioral Health unit while completing his nursing degree at Capital University. After earning his undergraduate degree, he served as a nurse in the Acute Care/Medical-Surgical Float Pool.

When the Behavioral Health Pavilion opened, Liam stepped into the role of Charge RN, later advancing to Clinical Leader in the Psychiatric Crisis Department. Upon completing his Master of Science in Nursing Education, he became the Nurse Education Specialist for both inpatient and outpatient services.

In addition to his work at Nationwide Children’s, Liam serves as Adjunct Faculty at Capital University, teaching pediatrics and psychiatry. Outside of work, he enjoys tackling DIY projects and cultivating a thriving garden.

Jamiylah Butler is a Crisis Services Clinician with Behavioral Health Services at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and brings over 15 years of counseling experience providing both clinical services and leadership.

She is passionate about promoting mental health equity and wellness in underserved communities. Her previous roles include serving as a professional school counselor and a university professor, and she is a national speaker on various mental health topics.

Jamiylah has co-authored two book chapters, co-edited a peer-reviewed journal, and served in multiple leadership roles in the Texas Counseling Association's Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development.
